FOUR YEARS AGO TODAY OUR DAUGHTER, JENNIFER M. MORGAN TOOK HER OWN LIFE.  SHE WAS PRETTY, FUNNY AND SMART AND UNFORTUNATELY HAD NO SELF-ESTEEM.

HER LEGACY WILL ALWAYS BE HER SON OWEN BRIGHT.  HE WILL NOT BE RAISED THE WAY SHE WANTED HIM TO BE AND HE WILL ALWAYS BE SURROUNDED BY PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT HIS FAMILY.  WE TRIED TO RECTIFY THE SITUATION FOR JENNIFER, BUT WE WERE NOT SUCCESSFUL AND WE ARE SORRY FOR THAT.

GRANDPARENTS VISITATION RIGHTS-BEING DEPOSED

This is a photo of my grandson, Owen Bright with one of our cats.  This picture along with 400 more was presented in court at trial.  Natalie Bright and her attorneys (Sanford Krigel and Karen Rosenberg of Krigel & Krigel) implied that I put my grandson in danger of an allergy attack by letting him around our cats.  They claimed he had an allergy to pet dander, yet at the time Jennifer Morgan and Natalie Bright had dogs and they knew we had cats.  My comment in court was "look at how Owen's eyes were running and he was sneezing" NOT!!!!!!

DEPOSITION QUESTIONS

The purpose of a deposition is to accuse, ridicule and try to catch someone in a lie.  And also to run down the person being deposed.  In my case I was asked some really personal and outlandish questions.  Following are some of the questions.

Do you know how old she (Jennifer Morgan) was when she passed away?

You don't believe that Jennifer Morgan had any other children, do you?

Did Jennifer Morgan growing up have any emotional problems?

Other than immediately prior to Jennifer Morgan's death, did she ever suffer from any kind of emotional problems?

Did you and Jennifer Morgan always have a good relationship?

Were there things that Jenny did that you (me) felt were inappropriate during that time period (previous 5 years)?

Did you (me) ever tell Jenny that you thought her relationship with Natalie Bright was inappropriate?

Have you ever seen Owen's (Jennifer's son) adoption decree?

I (Sanford Krigel, Natalie Bright's Attorney asks) want to make sure that I have your son's name and your first husband's name straight.  Are they similar; are they both John McDermott?

Let's talk (again Sanford Krigel, Natalie Bright's Attorney) talk about you son, John P. McDermott.  Was he ever hospitalized when he was a youth for mental health issues?

Have you ever been hospitalized for mental health issues?

Did your son, John P. McDermott, ever attempt suicide?

Information that I (Sanford Krigel, Natalie Bright's Attorney) is that when John P. McDermott, your son, was a teenager, he was in a hospital psychiatric unit.

Do you have a specific recollection of your son being in a psychiatric hospital?

Have you had any kind of meaningful relationship with your son since he's been 18?

Prior to your daughter's death, did you have any concern that if something would happen to her, you may not be able to see your grandson?

I (Sanford Krigel, Natalie Bright's Attorney) want to take your husbands deposition later today.  Do I have your word that you won't talk to him about this issue between now and the time he's deposed? This particular question concerned the fact that Jennifer Morgan, before she died made my husband Dave and I promise to have Owen Bright's adoption by Natalie Bright overturned due to the torture she experienced at the hands of Natalie Bright, Gail Fagen and Dan Bright.  Jennifer knew she had made a grave mistake in letting these devils into her and Owen Bright's life.

Did Jennifer ever date African American men?

Did you ever express to her (Jennifer Morgan) any displeasure abut her dating men who were African American?  This concerned a time when Jennifer was in her late teens.  My answer: I expressed to her my feelings about dating anyone who is already married.  Black or white.

 Did you ever refer to this man as a ni----?  My answer: absolutely not.  THIS IS NATALIE BRIGHT AND HER ATTORNEY, SANFORD KRIGEL TRYING TO IMPLY I WAS A RACIST.

How often did your husband (EX), John McDermott, get behind in child support?

When did your parents pass away?

How old were you when your mother and father got divorced?

You and your husband fight occasionally?

Is there any significant relationship that you've had with any relative other than your current husband (28 years) that did not have some pretty intense fighting from time to time?  This is Natalie Bright and her attorney, Sanford Krigel trying to imply I had a violent temper and therefore a danger to my grandson, Owen Bright.

Have you ever thrown anything at your husband?

Has there ever been any physical violence between you and your husband?

Have you ever had any criminal involvement? 

Have you ever had a DUI charge, for example?

Do you drink?

Have you ever been drunk in the last 5 years?

When you were a child, did your father ever act inappropriately to you in a sexual manner?

Have you ever attempted suicide?

Have you ever taken a drug overdose?

Have any of your physicians that you have ever met with advised you that it would be good for you to see a psychiatrist?

Did you sign a release to allow us (Sanford Krigel, Natalie Bright's attorney) to have access to your therapist, Dr. Lange's records?  I went to see a therapist after Jennifer Morgan (my daughter) committed suicide to help me with the grief of losing her and my grandson Owen Bright at the same time.  I was then asked about antidepressants and any other medicines I took.  Then went back to questions about my father.  I guess they thought they would confuse me.  Then on to a question about my husband that was so bizarre I wanted to throw up.

 Do you know whether Dave ---your husband has ever committed any kind of credit card fraud?

Have you ever earned income that you didn't report to the IRS?

After various stupid questions about the IRS and what I was paying Joshua T. Mathews, The Mathews Group, my attorney at the time Sanford Krigel, Natalie Bright's attorney, asked:

Did you ever tell Jenny that her father didn't want her?

Did Jenny's father exercise his visitation rights with Jenny?

Did you ever tell Jenny her father wasn't a good person?

You don't know how far behind Jenny's father was with respect of child support.  Is that correct?

My records reflect that there was a period of time, perhaps as long as seven years where you and Jenny didn't speak to each other regularly.  Is that accurate? His records.  Whatever Natalie Bright dreamed up.  There is not and could not be any kind of record of how many times someone had contact with another person.  This is the kind of underhanded lying crap that Natalie Bright would want someone to believe.  Just accuse someone and it becomes part of a BOGUS RECORD.  This is how Natalie Bright, Gail Fagen, Dan Bright, Sarah Tackett and the City of Olathe, Kansas Police Department  drove Jennifer Morgan to take her own life.

The first time that you became aware that Jennifer Morgan removed Natalie Bright's name as beneficiary and placed you name as beneficiary was following Jenny's death? 

Have you ever referred to Jenny as a dyke?

Have you ever referred to Natalie Bright as a dyke?

When did you first become aware that your daughter was a lesbian?

Would you have a problem if Owen Bright (my grandson) grew up and he was gay?

When was the last time you consumed alcoholic beverages?

When was the last time you were intoxicated?

Did you ever drink in excess when Owen Bright was around?

Have there been periods of time for a month or two or three that you haven't consumed alcoholic beverages over the last five years?

We are only on page 99 of my 6 hour deposition and it is exhausting going through it.  Total pages are 193, so the next blog will go along these lines.  The pain of some of these questions were excruciating but if anyone out there wants GRANDPARENTS VISITATION RIGHTS, YOU HAVE TO BE PREPARED AND THAT IS WHY I WRITE THIS BLOG.

I would give anything to see fresh hand prints on the windows, the TV screen and coffee table, etc.  

Natalie Bright, Gail Fagen, Danny Bright testified that I was not a grandparent to my daughter Jennifer Morgan's son Owen Bright.  Yet I took care of him for almost 3 years.   

CITY OF OLATHE, KANSAS POLICE DEPARTMENT'S "INCIDENT INVESTAGATION REPORT" CONCERNING JENNIFER M. MORGAN'S SUICIDE

THEIR TRUTH

The investigation was handled by Police Officer Patrick L. Foster and his supervisor then Captain Shawn M. Reynolds.  And Police Officer Brian R. Peters.   Neither me or my husband ever heard of Foster or Peters.

The first page list the electronics found in Jennifer's car when they found her.

November 24, 2010 at 10:30 am Peters was asked to assist in the investigation of "a missing endangered person, Jennifer Morgan".  Peters then had Jennifer entered into "NCIC" (The National Crime Information Center) as a missing person.

Peters then met with Natalie Bright to obtain Jennifer's checking account information.  He contacted Main Street Credit Union and advised them of the investigation and they advised that her debit card had not been used since November 22, 2010 which would have been the Monday before her death.  Natalie Bright also advised Peters that Jennifer had a Discover card and "lo and behold" she had the number with her.  Discover advised Peters that the credit card hadn't been used in the previous 48 hours.

At 4:00 pm Peters advised the Station Officer to take Jennifer's name off the NCIC because while Peters was doing the above for 6 hours they had already found Jennifer hours earlier.

INVESTIGATIVE BY OFFICER PATRICK L. FOSTER WRITTEN NOVEMBER 29, 2010

On November 24, 2010 Foster was contacted by Reynolds and asked to obtain Jennifer's cell phone records to include current GPS location.  "Captain Reynolds said that Sergent Morgan was missing and believed to be possibly suicidal".  So, at 8:45 am that day they were already thinking Jennifer was suicidal and as I have stated before the City of Olathe Police Department knew she was possibly suicidal on the day before when there were "secret meetings concerning Jennifer and her employment status" and the fact that Natalie Bright was having an affair with Sarah Tackett.

Foster then submitted a "Exigent Circumstances Request" form and sent it to Sprint to try to pinpoint her location from the cell tower.  They informed Foster that both of Jennifer's phones were powered off and was not receiving a signal.

At 11:20 am Foster was advised that Jennifer's body had been discovered in Miami County, Kansas.  Reynolds contacted Foster at 2:20 pm and told him that Natalie Bright "consented" to allowing the removal of Jennifer's laptop computer and an Olathe Police Department owned handgun (which was under Jennifer's bed her home).  It's not exactly clear how Natalie Bright knew Jennifer had a gun under her mattress, unless the sneaky, underhanded liar searched her bedroom when Jennifer wasn't there.

At 2:20 pm on November 24, 2010 Reynolds and Foster contacted Natalie Bright at Jennifer's home.  Bright showed them the kitchen location in  which she had discovered two prescription bottles belonging to Jennifer.   Bright said "that w hen she had discovered the bottles she noted that the "Xanax" bottle was empty".  The second bottle, Lexapro still contained tablets".

Foster also "discovered" a Taser  in Jennifer's nightstand.  Could Jennifer have had the gun and taser because she was afraid of Natalie Bright, Gail Fagen and Danny Bright?  As well as Sarah Tackett.  We'll never know.

Foster stated "a formal interview was not conducted with Natalie Bright".   I would like to know why?  Nobody questioned about her whereabouts the day Jennifer disappeared and the day she  died.

 Foster examined the prescription bottles and stated that "the prescribing doctor was Stephen K. Opdyke".  Whether this was a glaring mistake or to mislead us I don't know.  Jennifer's doctor was Rita Oplotnik and she prescribed the drugs filled on November 18, 2010.  The fact that the Xanax bottle was empty, we don't know if Jennifer got rid of them because they made her feel dizzy as she told me or if Natalie Bright got rid of them to make everyone think Jennifer would overdose.

The coroner's report said the only thing Jennifer had in her bloodstream was CELEXA.  WHERE DID THAT COME FROM?  NOBODY COULD ANSWER THAT.

Foster goes on to state that Det. Ronnie Burk (Burk is spelled wrong throughout the report Burke).  I guess Jennifer Morgan wasn't that important to the City of Olathe Police Department to get the details right.

Foster gave Burke the prescription bottles to aid in their investigation.  Burk instructed Foster to examine the hard drive on Jennifer's laptop to see if he could find anything pertaining to the suicide.

The last task Foster handled on November 24, 2010 (the day Jennifer died) was to request lock down any access to Jennifer's electronic accounts to include email and network access. That was the one thing done that satisfied me because Natalie Bright's lover, Sarah Tackett could not go snooping through Jennifer's things.

Everyone went home to enjoy the Thanksgiving weekend.  Nobody did another thing until November 30, 2010.  That was the day of my daughter's funeral service.  My husband and I had no celebration or Thanksgiving dinner.

One November 30, 2010 Foster was provided access to Jennifer's desk voice mail account.  He reviewed the voice mail and noted that the system contained two new voice mail messages and three saved messages.  One of the new voice mail messages was from Natalie Bright.  The message consisted of " I don't know what kind of drama is going on here but call me".  That is a real concerned message. 

Foster and Reynolds reviewed Jennifer's email and network accounts and did not locate anything that appeared connected to her death.

No work on the investigation until December 7, 2010.  Reynolds told Foster to release the laptop computer back to Natalie Bright.  Natalie Bright was eager to get the computer back.  Ten minutes after Foster contacted her she met him in the City of Olathe Police Department's parking lot so she could pick it up.  A forensic copy of the computer's hard drive was kept in the computer lab.  I don't think she knew that.

On December 9, 2010 Foster listed all Jennifer's Electronic Evidence.  An examination of all the devices was done.  The purpose of the examination was to locate any items on the list of devices relating to the "apparent suicide of Sergeant Morgan".  There were several "thumb drives" on the list.

Basically Foster could not find any concrete evidence that Jennifer researched "suicide" or "how to do it".  However, after he examined the hard drive on Jennifer's home computer he noted that Jennifer logged on November 23, 2010 and was on the computer from 11:07am to 11:25am.  That is the day she disappeared.  Natalie Bright had access to that computer that afternoon, evening and on the morning and afternoon before Foster picked it up November 24, 2010.  He goes on to say "I saw no activity that I could directly connect to a specific individual".  I believe Jennifer left work on the 23rd and went home left a note on the computer and Natalie Bright erased it before anyone would find out.  That's why she was so eager to get the laptop back.  

Foster examined Jennifer's cell phones and in the report he notes that he attached a list of the dumps of the phones, BUT WE WERE NOT ALLOWED TO HAVE THOSE.

Supposedly this is the official report on the investigation into my daughter's suicide, however, I doubt that.  As I said earlier no fellow officers were interviewed.  In the meeting to get the report Captain Greg O'Halloran and Captain Reynolds denied me access to Jennifer Morgan's personnel file and/or any attachments to this report.

Cops are supposed to protect their own.  In Jennifer Morgan's case, they did not.  The City of Olathe, Kansas Police Department let one of their own down and swept her life under the rug.  Jennifer Morgan gave 17 years of her life to that department and flimsy report is what she got.

The next blog will be about the questions I gave to my attorney (Joshua T. Mathews - The Mathews Group)  to ask Natalie Bright in her deposition which he totally disregarded.

GRANDPARENTS VISITATION RIGHTS-WE HAVE NONE

MIAMI COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE AND THE CITY OF OLATHE, KANSAS POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORTS CONCERNING JENNIFER MORGAN'S DEATH


TRUTHS

When Natalie Bright and her attorneys Karen Rosenberg and Sanford Krigel of Krigel & Krigel found out we had copies of the City of Olathe Police Department (meeting with Captain Greg O'Halloran and Captain Reynolds) report concerning their investigation into Jennifer Morgan's death, they wanted to get their hands on it.  We denied that request.

Since Natalie Bright was not related to my daughter in any way, she should not have any privilege to that information.  I truly believe they wanted it to get their kicks.

When Detective Ronnie Burk of the Miami County Sheriffs Office interviewed Natalie Bright after they found Jennifer's body.  One of her first questions of Det. Burk was "HOW DID SHE KILL HERSELF?"  Natalie Bright is such a hateful person, she was probably elated that Jennifer shot herself in the head.

As long as I have previously touched on the Miami County Police Report concerning Jennifer's death, I will continue with it.

DETECTIVE RONNIE BURK'S INTERVIEW WITH NATALIE BRIGHT ON NOVEMBER 24, 2010

When Burk arrived at Jennifer's house he was greeted by "MOMMY DEAREST-Gail Fagen at 4:45 pm on the 24th.  My question is how Mommy Dearest knew about Jennifer's death around 11:00 am and with no preparation, made it to Olathe, Kansas from the outskirts of Des Moines, Iowa before 3:00 pm.? Bright told me on Wednesday morning when she dropped Owen at my house that Mommy Dearest was calling all the nearby hotels in Olathe, Kansas from Des Moines, Iowa to see if she could find Jennifer. 


Burk asked Natalie Bright to tell him about about the past days events.  Liar that she is, Bright said that on Tuesdays Jennifer usually picks up Owen Bright from my house around 5:00 pm.  FIRST OF ALL, OWEN BRIGHT WENT TO SCHOOL ON TUESDAY AND THURSDAY.  HE WAS NOT WITH ME ON 11/23/2010.  She went on to say that "Bright sent a text message to Jennifer to tell her that she (Bright) picked him up from my house and Jennifer didn't have to.  Bright said she "did not get a response from Jennifer and thought that Morgan was maybe working late."  Again, Natalie Bright called me at 4:30 and asked if I had heard from Jennifer.  Jennifer would have still been at the Olathe Police Department's offices.  And if I would have had Owen with me that day Jennifer would not get to my house before 6:00 pm and most of the time I had Owen, she wouldn't get here till after 6:30pm.  Then, she goes on to tell Burk that around 7:00 pm. Bright had not heard from Jennifer and thought that maybe their relationship problems had caused her to go our with friends and drink.  She thought that if Jennifer was out drinking she would probably go spend the night at a hotel due to a fight they had several weeks before.  Bright states in following paragraphs of the Sheriffs report that "Morgan was moody, withdrawn from friends, lack of sex drive and troubles sleeping."  Bright's statements are contradictory in every way.  First, Bright thought Jennifer was out with friends that she didn't have, drinking.  Jennifer did not drink and no, she never got drunk and went out.  The day she found out she was pregnant with Owen until the day she died, Jennifer had beer on holidays and that was it.   As far as the other allegations Bright made, they were true, however Natalie Bright, mommy dearest Gail Fagen and Danny Bright were responsible for all Jennifer's feelings from Owen's date of birth (February 15, 2008) until Jennifer's death November 24, 2010.  

(GO BACK AND READ MY BLOG "HOW MUCH BULLYING COULD YOU TAKE").

The fight that was supposedly two weeks before was actually Monday two days before Jennifer killed herself.  Bright states that the fight they had was about Bright flirting with Sarah Tackett.  The fight was about so much more than about Tackett.  Again, refer to my bullying blog.

Natalie Bright also kept saying Jennifer and her had been together 6 years.  What a joke!  Three years and some odd  (9 months of that time Jennifer was pregnant).

This is an excerpt from the actual report: "Before ending the interview. Bright asked me for details on how Morgan died.  I (Det. Burk)told Bright that most spouses don't want to know the particulars and if she was ready for what I would tell her".  Natalie Bright was NOT JENNIFER MORGAN'S SPOUSE.  She did not even show any feelings whatsoever after she was told how Jennifer died.  She just went on to babble about firearms.

SUPPLEMENT NARRATIVE: PRELIM REPORT (VERBAL) 11/24/2010

First Call, the autopsy service of Dr. Handler.  The preliminary toxicology screen on Jennifer Morgan was negative for illegal drugs and alcohol.  The was no Xanax found either.  

Natalie Bright told Burk that Jennifer tried to commit suicide one other time by leaving her car running in the garage so she would succumb to carbon monoxide poisoning.  The Coroner's report said "signs of carbon monoxide are visible in the brain, however none was found on Jennifer's brain".

Another lie from Natalie Bright!!! 

SUPPLEMENT NARRATIVE: INTERVIEW OF DR. RITA OPLOTNIK

Jennifer Morgan thought she and Dr. Oplotnik were long time friends as well as Jennifer and Owen's doctor. 

Dr. Oplotnik said that she thought Jennifer's depression was relationship oriented than anything else.  Dr. Oplotnik said that she prescribe Xanax to Jennifer to help with her sleeping issues.    Dr. Oplotnik said that Jennifer was concerned concerned about taking Xanax because of what she thought it would do to her at work.   Dr. Oplotnik said that Jennifer still seemed to care about her job. As we  find out later, Jennifer was going to be put back in patrol aft 17+ years with the City of Olathe Police Department or she could be fired.

Dr. Oplotnik said "that when she attended the funeral service for Jennifer, she talked with her mother (me) who claimed that Jennifer was schizophrenic and blamed her for the suicide".   I did NOT TALK OR SEE DR. RITA OPLOTNIK.  Since we were in the delivery room when Jennifer Morgan was in labor with Owen and Oplotnik was right there helping with the delivery, I think I would know if I talked to her at Jennifer's service.  I have a suspicion that either she talked to Mommy Dearest, Gail Fagen, Natalie Bright's fat mother or a total stranger.

Here's a little aside: while Jennifer was in labor,  Natalie Bright moved to the head of Jennifer's bed because "that Oplotnik is fingering my girlfriend and I don't want to see that".WHAT A MORON and she's raising my grandson.

Another aside: Mommy dearest, Gail Fagen and her comb-over hair husband, Pat Fagen own a company named FAST SHAFTS.  How appropriate, that's all that family does is give innocents the FAST SHAFT.

SUPPLEMENT NARRATIVE: INFORMATION FROM CAPT. REYNOLDS
  
''On 12/02/10 at approximately 0815 hours, I (Burk) was contacted by Capt. Reynolds of the Olathe Police Department in reference to additional information he obtained about my (Burk's) investigation.  Capt. Reynolds stated that he was informed that Jennifer had changed the benefactors of her life insurance on 11/19/2010 from her son Owen and (spouse-NOT) Natalie Bright to her son Owen Bright and her mother (me).

Someone thought this was important enough to put in an official police report concerning a death.  So, Natalie Bright thought she was the sole beneficiary on Jennifer's policies from 11/24/2010 till 12/06/2010.  There's something about that fact that gives me some pleasure.  And also, makes me wonder where Natalie Bright really was when Jennifer Morgan died.

SUPPLEMENT NARRATIVE:  INTERVIEW OF DETECTIVE BILL WALL

On 12/07/2010 Burk met with Detective Bill Wall who stated that he and Jennifer were partners while both worked homicide investigations.  Wall described Jennifer as having a "dark side".  According to Wall, Morgan suffered from depression about 5 or 6 years ago when she broke up with a girlfriend before she started dating Natalie Bright.  Wall was and is an idiot.  His statement about depression is not warranted.  Jennifer Morgan broke up with her girlfriend to date Natalie and she was perfectly fine with that.  What made Jennifer depressed was that Natalie Bright gave her the shaft right after she left that girl and moved into an apartment.  This "dark side" crap makes Jennifer sound like a devil.  I think we all know who the devil was.

Detective Wall said that he he noticed that Bright and Sarah  Tackett seemed to flirt and act as if they were more than friends.  Detective Wall told Sarah Tackett that it was not a good idea to "flirt with the bosses wife".  Bright started to hide her cell phone.  Wall then mentioned a training event that occurred at the Johnson County Community College that Bright and Tackett attended.  Jennifer set up "surveillance"of Bright and Tackett at this training and observed Natalie Bright and Sarah Tackett walking out of  the building and get into Bright's vehicle.  After seeing this, Jennifer contacted Wall and told him what she saw.  Wall then told Jennifer that if she thinks Bright and Tackett were cheating, Jennifer needed to move on.  At the end of this day, Wall was talking to Jennifer and she told him "Don't worry.  I'm not going to hurt myself.  That was so unlike Jennifer.  The light should have come on in this guy's head that indeed she was going to hurt herself.  Instead he went home that night 11/22/2010 and didn't think of it again.  On this day in the morning Jennifer attended a seminar on "committing suicide" then she says "don't worry I am not going to hurt myself".

On Tuesday 11/23/2010 Wall had a conversation with Jennifer.  "Wall said he didn't remember what the conversation was about, but it was not about Bright".  REALLY HE DIDN'T REMEMBER THAT JENNIFER TOLD HIM SHE WAS GETTING DEMOTED AND OR POSSIBLY ASKED TO QUIT!!!!  

Jennifer disappeared at noon Tuesday, 11/23/2010.  "Wall said around 7:00 pm he noticed that Jennifer's office was still open and empty".  He hadn't seen her since morning and supposedly texted and called her.  Again, no light came on in this Detective's mind and told him something was wrong. 

Captain Greg O'Halloran was at the police station until 8:30 pm and noticed that Jennifer's office door was still open.  Her service weapon was gone at noon when she left Tuesday 11/23/2010.  But to cover their collective asses Bill Wall and Captain Greg O'Halloran said they didn't notice that her gun was gone till the next day when Jennifer killed herself.

This is the extent of the investigation and interviews concerning Jennifer Morgan's death by the Miami County Sheriff's Office.  My husband and I were not interviewed by either the Miami County Sheriff's Office or the City of Olathe Police Department nor were any other City of Olathe Police Department employees.

GRANDPARENTS VISITATION RIGHTS-IT'S A CHILD'S RIGHT

ALL THE OTHER TIMES MY HUSBAND WENT WITH US.  HE ASSURED ME OWEN WAS IN GOOD HANDS AND NOTHING WAS GOING TO HAPPEN TO HIM.

THAT'S WHAT GRANDPARENTS DO.  WORRY!!!!!

A CHILD'S RIGHT TO HAVE GRANDPARENTS '

Natalie Bright told the Judge (T. Kelly Ryan) that "I didn't do grandmotherly things with my grandson".  Two rounds of swimming lessons, playing endlessly when he was with me, reading to him, playing with flash cards, teaching him to identify what was on them, etc. wasn't considered doing grandmotherly things.

Before my daughter, Jennifer Morgan died, we accompanied Jennifer, Natalie Bright and Owen to the Pumpkin Patch in Gardner, Kansas.  We went to Baldwin City to ride Thomas the Train.

My husband and I and Owen went Fritz's where your food is delivered by toy trains.  We went to McDonald's every time he had his swimming lessons.  I took him to Toys Are Us at least one day a week.  I took him to the park where the trains came through right next to where we were.

After Jennifer died, Natalie Bright ask John and Dani McDermott accompany her and her mommy dearest (Gail Fagen) to go to the same places and make sure their were pictures of them.

Everyone failed to see that Jennifer was nowhere in sight, because she was dead.  Natalie Bright flaunted these so called "outings" and the pictures to show that the McDermott's were involved in Owen's life.

ONE LIE AFTER ANOTHER WAS NATALIE BRIGHT'S PHILOSOPHY.  My husband and I were an important part of my grandson's life.  He is the one that is being deprived of his family.  Any judge that does what our judge did, should be ousted, not given a promotion to a Criminal Court Judge.

All of Owen Bright's rights were yanked away after Jennifer died.  Natalie Bright, Gail Fagen and Danny Bright ganged up to remove me and his grandpa,from his life.  Natalie Bright also took his dog away from him, pulled him out of his school, got rid of the car Owen was familiar with when Jennifer brought him over to our house, and put their home up for sale.

Jennifer put so much of herself into that house.  She made the dining room Owen's play area.  She ordered Owen an arm chair, his own TV, an area shag carpet and toys stacked to the hilt.

Whenever Owen got sick she would disinfect all the toys and everything in his room.

Natalie Bright changed everything that Jennifer did.  Nevertheless, THE HOUSE NEVER SOLD.  So, maybe Jennifer Morgan's spirit had a hand in that.

LETTERS FROM THE OFFICES OF THE GOVERNORS' OFFICES

In my last post I said I had written to the governors of both Missouri and Kansas concerning "POLICE MISCONDUCT-CITY OF OLATHE" AND "ILLEGAL ADOPTION-MISSOURI".  I was going to load the letter in this blog, but basically it told Jennifer Morgan's story as I have told you previously, so it would be redundant to put it in here.

However, I got responses from their offices and they are as follows:

My letter was 10 pages long explaining in detail what the City of Olathe, Kansas did to drive my daughter to suicide.  Along with that the procedure of the Missouri Courts to portend an effective adoption.

I also explained in detail the way our "Grandparent's Right's case was handled by the attorneys (Joshua Mathews, The Mathews Group, Dana Parks, Hubbard Ruzicka Kreamer & Kincaid, Sanford Krigel, Karen Rosenberg Krigel & Krigel Law and last but not least, Judge T. Kelly Ryan and informal mediator, Judge Keven M.P. O'Grady).

As you can see from the letters, which are generic in nature, gave me numbers to call concerning my case.

MY CASE HAD BEEN TERMIINATED DUE TO A JUDGEMENT.  I DON'T NEED THE NUMBERS NOW.

I also sent the same letter to The Kansas City Star, KCTV-5, Fox 4, etc.

GRANDPARENTS VISITATION RIGHTS-ADOPTION FRAUD

TOO BAD THE CITY OF OLATHE, KANSAS POLICE DEPARTMENT DID NOT PROUDLY SERVE JENNIFER M. MORGAN WHEN SHE NEEDED THEM THE MOST.  THEY KNEW SHE WAS MISSING AND WITH HER SERVICE WEAPON, TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 23, 2010 AT 12:00 NOON.  SHE WAS FOUND DEAD NOVEMBER 24, 2010 18 HOURS AFTER SHE DISAPPEARED.

The following is a printing of the actual "Adoption Document" concerning my grandson, Owen P. Bright.  

Following is an explanation of the "Missouri Revised Statutes" on "Adoption and Foster Care".

 (1)   Natalie Bright did not reside in Missouri.
 (2)   Owen Bright was not born in Missouri.
 (3)   This is how Karen Rosenberg, Attorney for Natalie Bright, Krigel & Krigel Law interprets the Law.  "Located" does not mean physicality it means "lives".  None of the people involved in this "adoption" lived in Kansas City, Missouri.  Maybe Rosenberg does, but that doesn't matter.  This law firm makes hundreds of thousands of dollars dodging the law and the Missouri Courts and Judges let them do it.
 (4)   Jennifer Morgan (birth parent) did not live in Missouri.

I spent one whole day on the phone trying to find out who the Judge was in my grandson's supposed adoption.  Even though this guy or woman signed the "adoption" papers it is not legible.

The "Court Commissioner" was Molly Merrigan.  She heard the case and then "the Judge" signed the papers supposedly.

THIS IS THE MOST RINKY DINK AND CRACKER JACK GOINGS ON I HAVE EVER HEARD OF.  YES, JENNIFER MORGAN, MY DAUGHTER ALLOWED THIS TO HAPPEN BECAUSE AT THE TIME SHE BELIEVED IT WAS THE RIGHT THING TO DO.  IN THE END SHE PLEADED WITH ME TO HAVE THE "ADOPTION" OVERTURNED IF ANYTHING HAPPENED TO HER.

WELL, WE TRIED!!!!!!!!!

These "Shysters" were not my attorneys. They represented my (now deceased) daughter, when she drew up her Will. When she died they represented her live in girlfriend after they found out my daughter changed beneficiaries on her Life Insurance and other accounts to me and my daughter's son. They handled my daughter's probate and two cases to challenge the beneficiary change. If they represented my daughter and the girlfriend in several other cases against my daughter's estate, I call that unethical. Fabricated documents. Lying witnesses. Made-up testimony are their specialty.

We hired this lawyer in December, 2010 after our daughter committed suicide. We wanted Grandparents Visitation with our daughter's son. He was also hired to collect insurance monies that was left to me. This went on for almost 3 years. We did not get visitation rights and I gave up 1/2 the money on Joshua Mathews recommendation. He didn't mind taking all the money and he did nothing but sit back and dupe more people. DO NOT HIRE THIS GUY. DO NOT BELIEVE ANYTHING HE HAS TO SAY.

I was disappointed to read your review on Avvo.  I don’t feel that it is fair to portray things the way that you are.  As you will recall, I DID NOT take your case for grandparents’ visitation to trial, and I believe that you might have been successful if I had.  Regardless, we will never know the answer to that question because you chose to fire me and hire someone else.  Someone who, according to court documents, charged you approximately 5x as much as I ever did, though she handled only one case and lost.  Furthermore, we discussed the insurance issue and you agreed because Dean Thomas of UMKC Law School mediated that issue, and suggested that he believed there was a good chance you would lose all of the money under the existing case law at the time.

I can’t possibly imagine how difficult this process is for you, but I think it’s unfair to take it out on me.  I worked hard for you, and I worked to get you time with your grandson.  Negative reviews like yours affect my business and my family, and I think that your review in particular is misleading, to say the least.  It’s one thing to rate me poorly, but to say that I lost a case that you fired me from long before the trial simply doesn’t make sense.  I never had an opportunity to win or lose that case, and I notice that you didn’t write a review of Dana Parks, or her $30,000 legal bill, though she was the one who lost the case.

I’m sorry that you feel I didn’t represent you well.  I certainly tried, and I only wanted to help.  Your situation is tragic, and I feel that for you.  I felt it for you the entire time that I represented you.  But now I feel like you’re printing libel about me, by misrepresenting the facts of our engagement, and that’s unfair.

Earlier I told you about the people who investigated Jennifer Morgan's death.  Following are their reports:

 Bill Powell said that Jennifer changed her Will.  That was a mistake, she changed her beneficiaries.

RANTS THAT HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH ANY OF THE ABOVE

I recently bought some of Wolfgang Puck's (popular chef) gourmet soup and it tasted like baby food.  It was worse than Campbell's.

We had our home phone with Time Warner Cable and I called to cancel that part of the service.  The guy I talked to was named David.  He argued with me for five minutes trying to get me to change my mind.  He said he'd take ten dollars per month off the bill.  I told him to stop arguing and take the phone service off.  I told him "JUST THE PHONE SERVICE" and leave everything else as is.

Lo and behold the next day all TV's in the house went blank.  They HAD DISCONNECTED EVERYTHING.  This was at 4:00 pm.  We were on the phone trying to reconnect the service until 7:00 pm.

My daughter, Jennifer Morgan worked with this man named Ty Moeder at The City of Olathe Kansas Police Department.  He was still employed there when Jennifer had my grandson in February, 2008.  When she was alive, I told her I didn't want to know if she indeed knew his biological father.

After Jennifer died, I tried to contact him on several occasions via Email and phone.  He never responded.  To me that means there is something to the questions I have.  Or, he was instructed by Chief Steve Menke or Captain Greg O'Halloran not to talk to me, as were many others.

The question still remains in my mind.  Hopefully, one day this question will be answered some day.

WITNESS CALLED IN COURT TRIAL

When I was taking care of my grandson, Owen Bright, my daughter signed up for the services of the  Infants & Toddlers of Johnson County.  Jennifer was concerned that Owen wasn't talking more.  Two women from the organization came to the house and met with Jennifer and myself about the Program they offered.  Natalie Bright did not attend.  Nor, did she want to attend. Owen was signed up to see a teacher to work with him the next week.

This woman came to our house to work with Owen with me by his side to handle the details and make sure everything went smoothly.  Jennifer and Natalie Bright were encouraged by the woman from Infants and Toddlers, to attend these sessions.  However, neither of the two ever attended.


They sent Andrea Finter Bennion.  Nice enough woman.  She wanted to see how Owen interacted with me.  One time we did flash cards where I would tell Owen to find different images.  He found them every time.  Then Ms. Bennion worked with Owen and a mirror to form his mouth into specific words.  He didn't fight and was very personable with her.  

Ms. Bennion only came 2 or 3 times.  Another woman from Parents as Teachers came once.  Jennifer did not like some of the things they told us to try with Owen.  So, she cancelled the service.

When it came time to make up a "Witness List" for the Grandparents Visitation Rights trial Andrea Finter Bennion was on the list.  She was not happy about the testifying, so my lawyer at this stage, Dana Parks of Hubbard Ruzicka Kreamer & Kincaid law firm, told Ms. Bennion they would subpoena her and her records concerning her visits with Owen Bright.

Ms. Bennion did show up at trial WITH HER LAWYER.  Her lawyer told Judge T. Kelly Ryan that any testimony or paperwork she might have was privileged and should not be revealed at our trial.  Natalie Bright's attorney, Sanford Krigel of Krigel & Krigel law firm, jumped up from his seat and demanded to see the paperwork as Natalie Bright, Owen Bright's adoptive mother, had all the rights to examine anything regarding her son.

Ms. Bennion's lawyer handed the information over and Judge T. Kelly Ryan ruled that Ms. Bennion DID NOT have to testify.  REALLY!!!!

That information would have shown my importance as Owen's grandma in his development.  She could have commented on our interaction.  During one of her visits Owen bent down and hit his head on the coffee table.  It hurt and he sobbed on my shoulder for a few minutes and Ms. Bennion said "you can really tell he loves his grandma".  

This could have been very helpful to me but Judge Ryan wouldn't hear it.  The deck was stacked against me from day one.  And of course, my lawyer Dana Parks did not fight for this witness one bit.  This is the way the rest of the trial went.

John and Dani McDermott said what Natalie Bright and Sanford Kriel told them to say.  Venomous statements about me that were unbelievable and so over the top, I couldn't believe what I was hearing.  I had not seen or heard from either on of these people in over 30 years, but Judge T. Kelly Ryan ate their lies up like candy.

Danny Bright did the same as the McDermott's and I only met him 2 times after Owen was born.

Gail Fagen (mommy dearest) did the same as the others.  I met her 2 times.

My nieces tried to help my case, but Natalie Bright and Sanford Krigel turned their testimony around and kept referring the "the meeting after Jennifer's death and being taped without their knowledge by Natalie Bright".

Michelle Becker.  Just an out and out liar.  Had a baby about a year ago.  I don't envy that child with an idiot like her as a mother.

Kris Probasco.  Never met the woman.  Don't know what she was asked to lie about.

Judy and Dave Szymula.  I was on the stand a day and a half.  Sanford Krigel (we called him the GOOF), had Dave on the stand for a very long time.  Tried to trip us both up with his tricks.  It didn't work except for Judge T. Kelly Ryan and his ruling that they were all telling the truth and I wasn't.

The only other one besides my husband that knew the truth was my daughter, Jennifer Marie Morgan, and she is dead.  So, in essence they could walk all over her grave, if she had one.

At the end of Krigel & Krigel's official typed witness list Karen S. Rosenberg, Natalie Bright's other lap dog attorney, put in the following request:

"We ask that the contact information for each witness not be provided to petitioner (me) or her husband (Dave).  We will extend the same courtesy to you and not provide our client with contact information for petitioner's witnesses".

What a crock.  Natalie Bright had the list and Karen Rosenberg called everyone on my witness list and tried to pump them for information on their testimony.

Of course, I originally had 18 witnesses and my stupid attorney, Dana Parks called 4.
